CVS Caremark participates in local recruiting events across the U.S. Some of the events we attend include:
College Information Sessions
Recruiters and local hiring Managers visit college campuses and present company information, including current organizational events, financial performance, company structure and operations, and employment opportunities, as well as answer questions. These events are usually held during the fall, winter and spring seasons, and typically take place in the afternoon or evenings.
Industry Events
We attend industry events hosted by organizations, such as the ASHP (American Society of Health-System Pharmacists), the AACP (American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy), and the APhA (American Pharmacists Association). At these events, company representatives informally meet with students to discuss opportunities and provide company information.
College Career Fairs
Company representatives attend these large events with other employers and informally meet with students and alumni to discuss opportunities, as well as provide company information. These events are typically closed to the public.
Community Job Fairs
State agencies, newspapers or other media outlets typically organize these large events. Company representatives and other employers informally meet with attendees to discuss opportunities and to provide company information.
Open Houses
A public location, such as a company facility or hotel, is used to hold a career fair for a specific group of opportunities. These events are usually advertised and are open to the general public.
Private Organization Events
Students In Free Enterprise (SIFE) regional and national competitions whereby an invited audience can meet with company recruiters, obtain information and ask questions.
There are no events currently scheduled for Pharmacy Benefit Management or Retail Pharmacy.
