The CVS Caremark Charitable Trust is the private foundation of CVS Caremark Corporation. The mission of the Charitable Trust is to support communities by working closely with nonprofit grantees that are dedicated to providing healthcare to the uninsured, caring for children with disabilities and providing scholarship support for students in college, which includes a particular focus on pharmacy school scholarships. The Charitable Trust is also dedicated to supporting employee volunteerism by providing CVS Caremark Challenge Grants to nonprofits where colleagues volunteer.
At the heart of our work is to find those organizations that are most effective at creating positive outcomes for the populations they serve. We measure our grantees on a number of metrics, as well as explore opportunities to engage our colleagues. Launched by the Trust in 2006, the CVS Caremark All Kids Can program set forth a 5-year $25M commitment to serve the needs of children with disabilities by promoting access to physical activity, increasing services in the classroom and by providing access to medical care and therapies for children with physical and developmental disabilities. Our vision was to create opportunities for kids of all abilities to learn, play & succeed in life.
