CVS Launches Charitable Holiday Campaign for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital on NBC's The Today Show


Customers Able To Make a Donation To The St. Jude Thanks & Giving Campaign at Their Local CVS


WOONSOCKET, R.I., Nov. 26 /PRNewswire/ -- CVS/pharmacy (NYSE: CVS), America's
#1 retail pharmacy, today launched a charitable holiday campaign to benefit St.
Jude Children's Research Hospital on NBC Television's The Today Show.

Beginning today, CVS will offer its customers the opportunity to make a
donation of $1 or more to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital while shopping
at CVS, which will be added to the customer's total purchase amount. The
donation program at CVS is part of the hospital's national Thanks & Giving
fund-raising campaign.

The St. Jude Thanks & Giving campaign gives people the opportunity to
give "Thanks" for the healthy children in their lives while "Giving" to help
children everywhere who are desperately ill and battling to stay alive. Details

Marlo Thomas, daughter of hospital founder, Danny Thomas, announced CVS'
participation in the Thanks & Giving campaign during this morning's national
broadcast of The Today Show. The segment featured Ms. Thomas visiting a
Manhattan CVS store to demonstrate how the in-store donation program will
work.
