CVS/pharmacy Enhances Online and Photo Kiosk Experience

Customers Can Now Order Photo Gifts Using the KODAK Picture Kiosks; CVSPhotoCenter.com Offers Advanced Sharing Capabilities

WOONSOCKET, R.I. – November 13, 2008 – CVS/pharmacy, the retail leader in photo imaging and services, today announced it has enhanced its KODAK Picture Kiosks and Online Photo Center (www.cvsphotocenter.com) as a part of CVS/pharmacy’s ongoing commitment to providing customers with the best possible retail photo experience. Customers can, for the first time, create photo gifts using Kodak touch screen Picture Kiosks found at all CVS/pharmacy One Hour Photo Centers. The constantly expanding portfolio of gifts available online and/or in-store include one-of-a-kind photo cookies, photo playing cards and photo plates featuring the Disney^® High School Musical cast, Barbie^® and Hannah Montana^®, which put customers’ favorite snapshots on display with their favorite characters. In addition to widening the selection of photo gifts, the in-store kiosks and online photo centers feature a new look providing an easier and faster photo experience for all customers.   

The enhanced KODAK Picture Kiosks include a new, sleek on-screen menu designed to help customers quickly start a project, while learning more about other offerings. The new software automatically detects digital media (USB drives, memory cards, CDs, etc.) and organizes by date and folders, eliminating the time and hassle of searching for customers’ favorite pictures, making it faster and easier than ever to create photos and special photo gifts in minutes.  

For customers who prefer to manage their photos online, CVS/pharmacy also provides free online photo storage to its customers on CVSPhotoCenter.com. Here, customers can upload their images, order photo gifts and share photo galleries with friends and family. In a perfect blend of the convenience of the Internet and your neighborhood photo lab, prints ordered online can be picked up in as little as one hour at a local CVS/pharmacy Photo Center. The online photo center also features a new look offering a streamlined interface and additional features including photo slideshows and before and after editing views.  

Photo Gifts for Everyday and Every Occasion

With all the conveniences digital cameras provide, photo gifts are now more popular and affordable than ever. Customers can select from a wide array of newly available high-quality photo gifts starting at $9.99 right from the KODAK Picture Kiosk, with a more extensive catalogue of photo gifts available online. Photo gifts like apparel and posters can be picked up in about two weeks at CVS/pharmacy. Photo gifts such as twelve-month calendars and hardcover-bound photo books can also be created on the kiosk and picked up the same day – perfect for last-minute personalized gifts. CVS/pharmacy customers can also create a KODAK Picture Movie DVD combining up to 60 snapshots with hit songs from popular artists.

Additional new features of the CVS/pharmacy Online Photo Center include:     

• Enhanced sharing features to allow friends and family to order gifts and prints
• Sorting allows customers to view images and albums based on alphabetical order, date uploaded, photo count, date updated, or those marked as favorites
• Improved search capabilities to help find images and albums
• Ability to assign tags to images and albums
• View images in various sizes to quickly find the images needed
• Over 100 gift options including a series of products from The Dark Knight^® which features customer’s photos along with characters from the summer blockbuster 

Additional new features of the KODAK Picture Kiosks at CVS/pharmacy include:

• Photo gift preview enables consumers to see how their gift will look before they order
• Enhanced navigation for large groups of images makes it easier for consumers to find their images
• New cover page for the KODAK Picture Movie DVD displays an image from the movie with the title adding more life to your DVD collection
