CVS/pharmacy Expands Beauty 360™ with New Store in Ridgefield, CT

New brand partners unveiled at grand opening celebration hosted by Actress and Ahava spokesperson, Kristin Davis

WOONSOCKET, RI (May 18, 2009)—CVS/pharmacy announced the opening of the third Beauty 360 location in Ridgefield, CT at 467 Main Street. The prestige beauty store also added ten new brands across cosmetics and skincare and has introduced hair care to its product offering. The new brand partners are Vincent Longo, Cargo, Jack Black, Anthony Logistics for Men, Mario Badescu, Bioelements, Philip B, LOLA, H20+ and Neil George and will be available at all Beauty 360 locations beginning this month. These additions, as well as expanding store locations, signal the retailer’s commitment to providing easy access to a wide and varied assortment of the best cosmetic, skincare, hair care, grooming and fragrance brands under one roof.

Beauty 360 was launched by CVS/pharmacy in November 2008 with the inaugural location in Washington, D.C. (1350 Connecticut Ave NW), followed soon after by the second store in Mission Viejo, CA (25272 Marguerite Parkway). All Beauty 360 stores are adjacent to CVS/pharmacy locations and accessible via a breezeway. The retail model of placing a prestige beauty shopping environment next door to a CVS/pharmacy location has enjoyed a successful launch period and more stores are scheduled to open throughout 2009.

Beauty 360 is celebrating the opening of the Ridgefield location with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and VIP customer events. Joining Beauty 360 in the celebration is Ahava spokesperson, actress Kristin Davis, who will be cutting the ribbon with Ridgefield First Selectman Rudy Marconi. The Ahava line is currently available at Beauty 360 stores. Also on hand will be celebrity makeup artist Vincent Longo, whose line debuts at Beauty 360 this month. Davis and Longo will participate in a VIP customer meet and greet to offer their beauty tips and favorite products following the ribbon-cutting ceremony.
