"Official Pharmacy of the Red Sox" to present Fenway Park Family Section while partnering with Red Sox on community endeavors

"This is a unique, wide-ranging partnership," Kennedy said. "Beyond CVS receiving tremendous visibility inside the ballpark, the part of the package we are most excited about is the commitment CVS has demonstrated to the youth of New England through the community outreach programs in this agreement."
"We are delighted to support our local champions and align ourselves with an organization that holds the same values for community appreciation and involvement," said Eileen Howard Dunn, Vice President of Corporate Communications and Corporate Philanthropy for CVS. "We believe this partnership has all of the components of a winning team and it is a great way to connect with our customers throughout New England."
Through the partnership, Woonsocket, RI-based CVS will be recognized as the "Official Pharmacy of the Red Sox."
CVS will receive naming rights to the CVS Pharmacy Family Section (Sections 32 and 33 at Fenway Park). CVS will distribute Family Section tickets for Red Sox home games to New England community groups and non- profits, which will bring more than 1,200 underprivileged children from the New England area to the ballpark annually.
CVS will receive signage on the Left-Field Wall next to a new-in-2005 American League East Division standings board on the Green Monster. The standings board continues the Red Sox' effort to provide fans with more information during games. In 2003, the club added pitchers and hitters boards in center field and returned National League scores to the Left-Field Wall.
Additionally, CVS/pharmacy and the Red Sox created a first-of-its-kind marketing program earlier this year through which CVS became presenting sponsor of Red Sox Spring Training, a first in Major League Baseball.
