CVS Multicultural Products

Just like we respect and champion our colleagues’ many differences, at CVS Caremark we are focused on our customers distinct and varied needs too. That’s why we offer multicultural products online and in our CVS/pharmacy stores, and why our main retail website, CVS.com, is now also fully available in Spanish.

But our commitment to multicultural communities goes far beyond the products we offer. We consider ourselves an important part of the communities we serve and our colleagues take pride in the fact they live and work “right up the street” from their customers. And when you’re a part of a community, you want to do right by it.

And perhaps there is no better example of how we are doing right by our neighbors than Project Health, a yearly program in which we offer millions of dollars worth of free health screenings in major cities all over the country. Thousands of people, who otherwise would have little or no access to preventive health care, are able to determine their cholesterol and blood sugar levels, and whether they are at risk for several chronic diseases, like hypertension, osteoporosis and diabetes.

Not only does the program help people discover otherwise undiagnosed conditions and diseases, it encourages and helps those customers seek out the appropriate medical care to get them on their path to better health. Beyond addressing these health disparities that significantly and disproportionately impact diverse populations, we also show our support of these communities through our continued sponsorship of the work done by the National Urban League and the Hispanic Heritage Foundation.
